TRUNK TWIST
TRUNK TWIST:
As its name indicates it involves the twisting
of the trunk. Place your open palms on your knee joints. Take three deep breaths
(belly breathing). Lift up your palms from the knees and turn towards your left
place the right palm on the left knee and the left open palm on your back at
the sacral region of your vertebral column supporting firmly. Turn your eyes also along with, and you should
turn as much as you can inhaling slowly and steadily. Hold in that position for
a fraction of a minute and inhaling slowly bring your trunk to the middle
position that’s to the front. Start inhaling again. Turning your trunk change
your left palm to the right knee and place your right palm on the sacral
position of your vertebral column. Exhale slowly while you do this. Hold it in
that position for a fraction of a minute and repeat this twist for three times.
It improves the health of your spinal vertebrae, tones up the nervous system
and improves blood circulation. It perfects the brain functioning. Ensures good
supply of food and oxygen the neurons.
