FOR THE NECK AND HEAD
NECK SWIRL:
Rotate your neck and
head in a circulatory motion slowly and steadily, no jerking movements,
beginning from left going to the right through the front, bending the neck
forward and backward. Do this three times.
NECK SWAY:
Sway your neck left
and right, slowly inhale and exhale s you do this. No jerking movements and no
haste. When you do YOGA you must think that you have all the time on earth.
NECK TWIST:
Turn your neck left
and then right in a steady motion. After you do this turn your face up and try
to touch your back side with the back of your head; then bring it forward and
touch your chest with your chin. Repeat this three time. After that do
Pranayama to relax.
NECK ZIG ZAG:
Sit in the same semi
lotus pose and concentrate on your neck and head. Bend it towards left and
bring it to the right hand side in a zig sag like motion.
NECK SHIFT:
Continue in the same
semi lotus position, think about your neck and head. Then keeping the head
straight up, shift it towards a dancer; and then shift it towards the right.
Perhaps you may not be able to do it the first time. You can keep trying it
again and again in the following days. This will give perfect shape to the
neck. Reduces stiffness and cures most pains. It improve blood circulation in
the head, face and neck. It helps to improve memory and intellectual abilities.
